      I am on an Antix-19.2.1-x64-Base system.

      Can I install Avidemux and how?

        Maybe you take a look at the appimage .
        Just download it and make it executable.
        https://www.fosshub.com/Avidemux.html

        Otherwise you have to enable the multimedia-deb sources in your /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian.list
        for the download probably.
        But don’t forget to disable it after the download.If not it will most likely break something sooner or later.

          I downloaded the AppImage from the Avidemux page on sourceforge.net.
