Hello Friends!
I’m running antiX-17.4.1_x64-full Helen Keller. I have installed VirtualBox 6. Inside VirtualBox I have Windows 7 64-bit operating system installed.
In short, I can run a virtual Windows 7 64-bit inside my antiX system.
I have successfully installed a printer, Epson LX-300+II (dot matrix?), in the virtual Windows. However I cannot print with it. It’s giving me an error.
I’m far away from that computer right now so I can’t give anymore details yet.
Thanks very much!
A) In Windows 7, save the document as PDF (or use a program to “Print to PDF” like CutePDF or PdfCreator). Then transfer it to Linux (use email, ftp or Virtual Box Shared Folder) and print from linux.
B) Try to see if you can connect the USB port where the printer is attached to your physical computer to Virtual Box (in the Virtualbox menu, navigate Devices > USB > and find the correct USB device).
