::I had this problem, OP.
Just change the dpi of the of screen display (conky reports it as 96 dpi by default – I think I changed it to 80 dpi).
Then, make the system/menu font sizes smaller or change to a font that is more squat in appearance as that will reduce the size of the dialogue boxes with a title at the top.
Unfortunately, the majority of linuxes do not put things in one place where you’d expect things to be so I can not go into detail on how to do it – just what needs to be done.

::It says online your 1001HA supports max res between 1920×1440 up to 2048×2536.
Nvidia & other modern drivers allow you to scale the screen higher than the display output to simulate higher resolutions — so maybe try to update to the latest video driver you can & play with the settings.
If your netbook display still can’t do this, it says there is a display output (with possible adapters) for a larger screen (most old non-tube TVs support 1280×720 & have PC compatible inputs).
For my 1001HA, Control Centre > PC Information graphics section gives the following:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GSE
…
00:02.1 Display Controller [0380]: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GMLI tried using the Control Centre > Hardware > Nvidia Driver Installer and received a message: No nvidia card found.
On my machine the F4 function key is supposedly for switching screen resolution, but in my case it doesn’t seem to do anything. Other function keys work as expected.
I suppose I could connect an external monitor (which I haven’t got) to get a larger screen, but one of the reasons why I’m using this netbook is that it’s small and easily portable, so I don’t want to attach more hardware.
I don’t know anything about graphics cards and drivers and am out of my depth there.

Great. I did this and it worked.
In Control Centre > Desktop > Set Font Size DPI I changed the font size from the default: 1.00 (96 dpi) to .9 (86 dpi). I didn’t do anything else.
In LibreOffice Writer print window I can now see the complete window, including the Print button at the bottom. The window size is now 768×548, so in my 1024×600 resolution (with taskbar autohide enabled) there is even a little space above and below the window.

::Great! (Thanks starnutter for finding a solution)
Shall I mark this as solved?Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.
antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

Shall I mark this as solved?For me now, yes, this is solved.
But the difficulty remains for a first-time antiX user who installs the system on a small-screen computer and tries to establish an internet connection in Connman without knowledge of the window size problem and the possible solutions.

::While checking with another EEPC, this one is 1215B,
I found that in ICEWM Preferences there are following settings
LimitSize=1 #0/1
Limit position of window to screen
LimitPosition=1 #0/1
along with quite a few other window control settingsThis machine also has setting
SmartPlacement=1That machine is on 19.4 but expect those settings to be valid for all recent icewm versions.
Should a theme override the settings an icewm, I think the BobC themes work fine, save a lot
of screen space, I setup nothing else.
/home/yourusername/.icewm/.prefoverrides can be made with those preferences included
Nothing in startup or other files changed and no window off screen issues.
Screen is 1366*768 on this machine, graphics radeon. SSD fitted upgraded memory to max. -
