Can't connect to wifi (Broadcom Limited BCM4312) that worked with Antix 16

Hi,
I bought a used HP Mini 2133 because it was cheap and I needed a Mini laptop.
I already downloaded some light distributions for an other old computer.
So, I tested a few distributions with the MIni HP and the only one with the wifi working was the Antix. It was the version 16, so, I downloaded the last version and …the wifi didn’t work anymore with the 17.1 version.
I tried a lot of things but nothing worked, so, I ask for your help.

I don’t know why but yesterday, I could work with wlan0 in ceni, but after reinstalling the system (thinking I might have done wrong things), today,there nothing, nor in ceni, nor with ifconfig as you saw before.
I didn’t do much today, I just tried to blacklist wl and un-blacklist b43 in the network resolution problem (Broadcom manager) but it didn’t changed anything, so, I blacklisted and un-blacklisted the contrari to go back to the initial sate, but there is a little difference: b43 is now in the “Blacklisted drivers” and not anymore in the “Blacklisted broadcom drivers”.
Can you tell me what I should do?

Trying to edit my message lead me to a 403 error page…
So: “I’ve tried lost of things from (…)” had to be before: “I don’t know why but yesterday, (…)”
And I want to ad that I only went to https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Broadcom_wireless about an half hour ago but I already knew what’s interesting there from my previous searches (but I should have begin with that, that would have been easier to understand how it work).

I would try this.

1. under /etc/modprobe.d/broadcom-sta-dkms.conf, remove the blacklist from all the opensource drivers, and only blacklist “wl” In other words, the only driver blacklisted should be “wl”.

2. if /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf is present, make sure that no opensource broadcom drivers are present. If so, remove them from the blacklist.

reboot and see if it works.

Yet I still have got this 403 page so, I try by commenting in a few part…
Thank you Dolphin oracle.
I made it with the Broadcom manager and the result is there are no more blacklisted drivers in /etc/modprobe.d/broadcom-sta-dkms.conf and that wl is blacklisted in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf (I think this doesn’t change anything).

wlan0 is now present in ceni but it founds nothing when I scan. Do I have to roam (yesterday, I tried it but it didn’t work)? wicd doesn’t find any network too and wpa_supplicant configuration, scaning doesn’t do anything too.
So, that’s better it seams but still not working.

Card-1: Broadcom Limited BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY driver: b43-pci-bridge

Card-2: Broadcom Limited BCM4321 802.11a/b/g/n driver: b43-pci-bridge

Maybe you could remove that driver LP-PHY driver and then see if ceni will work.
by using
modprobe -r LP-PHY

It looks like this is the same problem but I couldn’t fix dependencies problems to install xserver-xorg-video-openchrome (1:0.6.0-3):

Leon,
Looks like my bad, as I misread the LP-PhY as a driver, so disregard my prior post.
You have the correct driver b43-pci-bridge, and it is loaded.
Here is another way to try and get the wireless up.

Go to Control Center-> Network–> Connect Wirelessly (wicd)
after the Wicd Network Manager opens, click on the small down arrow at the top right
of the window, then click on preferences
You should be able to see the preferences window
add in the wireless interface: wlan0 if it is not there.
Click on the Advanced Settings Tab check to see if the driver is wext and the backend is set to external
click ok and then back on the Wicd Network Manager hit the refresh button and choose the wirless network you need.
