I’ve recently gotten a new machine and have successfully installed Antix21 on it. I had been running Antix 21 earlier on my old machine and was able to install GnuCash without issue.
Now, here is what happens when I try:—————-
apt install gnucash

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have

ffmpeg libavdevice58 libpostproc55I should note that booting with the default “modern kernel” causes this machine to lockup within a minute or two after login. So, I am using the older, 4.9.0-2 kernel (this issue is also present on my wife’s older Toshiba).
I’ve attached my system info as a text file.
Any ideas on how to get Gnucash installed would be greatly appreciated.

::Partly off-topic- I have not been as active on the forum as I recently been, but is it me or it becoming a thing, having users complain that they can’t install packages because they messed with the default repos? Are (new) users risking enabling/adding Repos they shouldn’t or is there a package that is somehow enabling debian multimedia repos???

::Yes, that fixed the problem. Although, I NEVER mess with the repos and do not remember doing so in this case. Nonetheless, it was enabled. Alzheimer’s?
Thanks much

::Yes, the problem with deb.multimedia appears strikingly often. The only package I know of that adds and removes this source are the non-free video codecs for DVDs from package installer.
This automatic add and remove works absolutely fine here.
Might the OP could tell us which version and where he downloaded it. -
