[SOLVED] Can’t install to M.2 SSD drive.

Hey all, I’ve rebuilt the workhorse and antiX won’t install to the new kit.

The DVD runs and cli-installer starts but I can’t get further than selecting my partition.
The installer lists the available partitions nicely now, thanks for that, however after entering nvme0n1p6 I’m told this is not a valid partition.

This is a pre-formatted partition on my primary M.2 Samsung 970 Evo SSD drive. The drive already contains working installations of Windows 10, Ubuntu 19.10 and SparkyLinux.

I believe the cli-installer has problems installing to certain drives. You will probably have to use the gui installer.
Maybe some of the devs can confirm this, but this is probably the problem.

I modified the cli installer to hopefully allow more drives after that last report. If you would like to try it is found at
https://gitlab.com/antiX-Dave/cli-installer-antix/
simply download cli-installer and copy it to /usr/local/bin/

Thanks for the work Dave, that cli-installer worked perfectly. I now have antiX running on nvme0n1p7.
