        Dear Lead Farmer,

        I have exactly the same thing.
        This package is linked to VLC.
        I can’t update it.

        Best regards,
        Wallon

          Thanks @Wallon, I was worried it never happened to me before.
          I think will remove VLC and do a autoremove, I almost never use it.

            I see The following packages have unmet dependencies:
            libvlccore9 : Depends: libidn12 (>= 1.13) but it is not installable
            E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

            when I attempt to install libvlccore9. However, a regular dist-upgrade does not expose this issue.
            Do you actually need this package for any reason? I do not.

              I don’t know other then VLC app.
              The description libvlccore9 “Description: base library for VLC and its modules”, but I don’t see it in the depends of the VLC app.

              Should I Just remove it?

                Fix will appear in repos asap

                Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

                antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.
