Trying to use antix for the first time, just booting from live CD. Toshiba Satellite R10 tablet, 1G RAM
      All the screen says is:
      switch_root:can't execute '/usr/bin/env': Input/output error

      Tried normal and safe mode.

switch_root – switch to another filesystem as the root of the mount tree

It sounds like there was a writing or reading error (or cd iso downloading error) that is causing this.

Verify that the download is error free. Then the cd creation also. (Does this cd reader read other cds?)
Perhaps another potential avenue of trial, as well, would be a live-usb (once the downloaded iso file has been verified).
