Is anyone playing around with or using CDE on antiX?

I took a look at CDE when they re introduced it, a few years back, but XFCE is based on it & was built as a newer version.

If memory serves right it is motif based, which I don’t think gets much attention these days.

        Linux (& BSD) since 1999

From Sparky repos … didn’t really use it anymore since I stopped using Solaris 10.
Rather take WindowMaker, if you already don’t want anything sane …

No doubt it is “retro” I can remember using it on Vax Stations running VMS in the late 1980s early 1990s. It was motif based in those days, as I remember. AH for those thrilling days of yesteryear. 😉 I have noticed it is reasonably popular among those on SparkyLinux.

Wow, those blocky buttons, “bisque” default background, Netscape Navigator browser, clunkey mice, etc. – my first experience with real UNIX graphics! THAT brings back fond memories of working on Solaris workstations at work back in the day (mid ’90s) and when I started writing Perl/Tk and Perl/CGI apps!
