        Have you checked /etc/fstab?

Error message says “mount point /media/sr0 does not exist”

See if this works: manually make the directory /media/sr0

(through file manager, or in terminal run: mkdir /media/sr0 )

            then insert disc again.

            confirmed antiX frugaler, since 2019

Running “sudo mkdir /media/sr0” in terminal worked. Many thanks.
