I think when money can just be printed or clicked into existence there will always be that risk. It doesn’t really matter who created to money if there were no goods produced to buy with them.
I agree with you. Money created with a click is a laughable way of managing the economy. Money creation should be related to some sort of good and not “come into existence” by the “will of the banks”. But I think there is an intangible value that is never accounted for.
I don’t want to go into a debate about what is the appropriate backing for money, if it should be tangible or intangible assets. For me, every time someone creates value (helps someone in need, services someone simply by doing their job, makes people smile and enjoy more their day, or contributes to make something better) is creating value but that value doesn’t create money. If people who have all the tangible things say that money should be backed by tangible things, only they have the money (and the power to manage it), and the rest need to fight (working hard, sacrificing their time, health or ideas) to even receive some of it. That kind of money is a type of slavery. But that is just my distorted view of reality.About why companies have to go offshore, I will not go into discussion, as my knowledge of commerce and economy is very limited. But VAT applies to both products produced inside and outside of a country, and are only related to the people paying said VAT. If a product is sold in my country, no matter where it is coming from, it is the people who are paying said VAT (which later the company pays to the local government). The only disadvantage for the non-local company is import taxes and transport costs compared to the local company, but that is not related to the VAT.

I do not have Facebook or Twitter for a reason but my wife does. Anything not in line with ‘democratic’ propaganda is suppressed. This reminds me times I was born and lived until my late 20’s in socialist/communist system, so I can recognize propaganda.
Although appreciating pure ideologies, unfortunately these ‘democrats’ are outright lying to people and are in the pocket of big capitalism while telling people they represent their interests. Just notice how ‘democratic’ runs states such as California and Washington were so successful in creating huge number of homeless people living on the streets. Middle class disappearing and turning mostly into poor and a few rich.Maybe we could emigrate somewhere more gentile.
I do not think much will change when this puppet of big capitalism is in power, as he is not for radical change unlike his vice. As long as he lives and is fit enough. I hope he will survive enough fit until the end of his term.
If not, and life becomes unbearable and you still consider to emigrate I would still recommend Europe. Poland and Greece in particular…
