      Greetings

      My OS: Antix 19.1 Marielle Franco
      My Kernel: Linux antix1 4.9.200-antix.1-amd64-smp
      My File Manager: SpaceFM
      My Windows Manager: IceWM
      My Theme: Ultrablack-Large
      My Look and feel: Niroki (dark theme)
      My Icon theme: Numix square antix

      i) PROBLEM:
      Go to Start > Control Centre > Desktop > Choose Wallpaper > click > nothing happens
      I cannot see option window to allow me choose my wallpaper

      In terminal type:
      wallpaper.py

      The output shows
      ………………..
      space-icewm
      Traceback (most recent call last):
      File “/usr/local/bin/wallpaper.py”, line 532, in <module>
      Var().read()
      line 124, in readvar.CURRENTCOLOR = var.COLORAttributeError: class Var has no attribute ‘COLOR’
      ……………….

      ii) SOLUTION:
      In terminal:
      pico ~/.desktop-session/wallpaper.conf

      Scroll down to
      COLOR=000000000000

      change to:
      COLOR=000000ffffff

      Ctrl o
      Enter (Press Enter on the keyboard)
      Ctrl x

      Restart session if you have to.

      PS: I must have changed the COLOR code in error a while back when the select wallpaper option no longer worked in the Control Centre

        1. Is the software all up to date?
        2. Which desktop are you running (it says in the conky)
        3. Any programming mods?
        4. Which version of antiX 19.1, ie 32/64 full or base, installed or running from flashdrive?

          Looks to me like antiX 19 64bit . No mention of full or base or core install though to go by.

          Maybe they will mention it next.

          This works a treat

          inxi -zv8

          and this for is the system up to date question

          Edit: I guess I’ll mention I have never had a issue like this and the 1st thing after install is I point my wallpaper application to the wallpaper folder I keep in /home/username

          $ cd Wallpaper
