X201 is based on i5 processor. Should not have any issues with Chromium.

I’m on the Thinkpad X201 and it indeed is a 64-bit system and it works with Chromium; I am using it now. Good keyboard, solid construction.

This is what I get with inxi:

            Hello everybody.

Kexs, I’m sorry I didn’t want to take your topic. You have been starting several important topics and I am following and learning along with you. I appreciate you bringing your questions to this forum, as your questions may be from other people. Besides me, and of course Felipe, other people are following the development of this topic. I’m glad you understood my intention, the topics can serve as tutorials for others, the more detailed information we can share in this forum, the greater the use of information made available here for others.

Xecure, Brian, ModdIt, I thank you for your explanations and teachings. I believe everyone understands the risk of using outdated Chromium. I emphasize that usage should be limited and specific to accessing this antiX forum. With the information I currently have, Chromium and Google Chrome internet browsers are the ones that deliver files translated from English to Portuguese and with high quality formatting for “.pdf” (it doesn’t even look like it was translated). I know that at some point the Chromium version 88.0.4324.182-1 will be so obsolete that this site (antiX forum) won’t be able to load properly and hopefully by then, we (I mean me and the non-readers and write in English) we have found another solution with equivalent quality.

Thank you very much Xecure, for all your teachings and tutorials, it is with great satisfaction that I confirm that the installation went perfectly, Chromium Version 88.0.4324.182 (Developer’s Version) built on Debian 10.8, running on Debian 10.10 32 bits is working very well , I managed to fix the packages so they don’t receive updates.

                  My pleasure.

Also I found that there is a high quality translator extension for Firefox (works in LibreWolf too) called ImTranslator.[1] It has most of the features you’ve talked about. In Firefox, I’ve noticed that the browser does not always create all the PDF pages like you prefer. But there’s also an ImTranslator extension that will work on the Brave browser, and that one does normally give me the proper number of PDF pages.[2] Brave browser is always kept up to date. If you need a 32-bit browser that the ImTranslator extension should work on, you could try the Vivaldi browser.
