A little bit more of info would be useful. From the title of your post I think is safe to assume that cinnamon’s window manager is not supported in antiX?
Did you get a window asking if you wanted to use settings from another window manager? What happened when you tried using cinnamon?… How did you install it? What is your system’s specs?
You see, we need that info, since the war started the world’s supply of crystal balls is very thin…

A simulated install on sid shows adding cinnamon would pull in 288 Essential packages,
the recommends list pretty long. No indication it would not be possible to install.

Just checked on Aliexpress, As PPC wrote crystal balls are out of stock.
Give us full info on antiX version and your steps which lead to an error message.

Just a tip, being mannerly costs little and will help you to get assistance.

You are probably referring to a screen that pops up saying this WM is not supported and gives you a list of supported WMs to pick?
If so then there is a button at the bottom to disable this screen from popping up each time. This screen is initially displayed if your desktop is other than the supported four WMs for your information. You just disable that screen as acknowledgement that your DE will have limited support but might work just fine…
