Clarify me some concept, please!

I am collaborating in the translation of antiX on Transifex.
Sometime my lack of knowledge drag me down….
– the concept of mount / unmount (for the unplugdrive project) it’s not clear to me ; Specifically “Blocked by Nested Mount” What does it do? What’s this? …”Nested” (my computert doesn’t makes eggs)?

You should have put your question in the “Translation” section because your question may be of interest to all translators.
For the word “nested”, we use the word “imbriqué” in French. I did some research on the internet to translate this word. I share your opinion because it’ s really too technical for a simple translator like me.

I apologize for that. i’m a new user and i’ve only seen the “Translation” section after the fact searching just about nested mount.
If someone have to move the topic i’ve no issue whit that.

I share your opinion because it’ s really too technical for a simple translator like me.

…my translation it’s just few words aside from being good enough!
Translating is explaining in a sense, if only I can understand it better, i will use the 3 correct words needed to explain “Blocked by Nested Mount” to my neightbors.

It means that you cannot unplug the drive because there are other device(s) dependent on it being mounted.

In the case of the picture below it looks like the machine is booted to a flashdrive, and you can’t be allowed to dismount the flashdrive when the operating system is running from a mount inside it.

Maybe instead of translating “nested mount”, you could say “dependent mount”)
