claws-mail selecting multiple messages for an action

Can you please tell me:
how to highlight multiple messages in claws-mail in order to then be able to, for example. copy, move, delete,….
So far, I have seen that you can do this either with one selected message or with all selected messages at once….or and only the chain

In the same manner that you move a folder to another one, you can move emails from one folder to another. The same method applies for this: either drag ‘n’ drop emails to a folder, or choose “Move…” after right-clicking on the mail. You can select multiple emails by using the Control or Shift key while clicking on them. You can also copy emails to another folder by pressing the Control key when drag’n’dropping, or by choosing “Copy…” from the email’s contextual menu.

Use the search engines. It will save you time.

Just press and hold Strg key, mark mails with mouse as you need. Hover cursor over any marke mail, press right mouse key
select action from list.

It seems you haven’t tested Control (Ctrl) key.
Control+click lets you select/deselect entries.
Shift+click selects all entries between the current selected and where you click.

Now you know the basics for an enormous amount of programs, including file managers and many text editors.
