I have Clementine media player on antixcore-LXDE, and am using it to select podcasts from BBC radio 4 to download. However, something strange is happening while I do this.
Normally, in Clementine, I click “add podcasts” and it takes me to the window showing the list of radio channels with podcasts to download. Next, you click on a radio channel, and then select a programme or programme-series to download from. Normally, I can do this for several podcasts while the Clementine window stays open between selections.
However, the unusual thing I’m experiencing right now is that each time I select a podcast, the Clementine window automatically closes instead of staying open. Therefore, I have to reopen it and go through the “add podcast” process again before I can add a 2nd or subsequent podcasts …
Did you have this problem? If you did I’d love to hear from you and know how to fix this.
I had a look on the Clementine Forum but couldn’t find anything on this issue …- This topic was modified 3 years, 1 month ago by mikey777.

::Since I posted this, I’ve found a way to avoid the annoying issue described above with Clementine media player.
This is the fix:
1. Open Clementine
2. Right-click on Podcasts to get a drop-down box
3. Click on Configure podcasts
4. In the Preferences window, go down to Appearance (see screenshot below)
5. Number of episodes to show: choose All
By selecting All, instead of any number less than this, the Clementine app will stay open between selections.Attachments:
