Hello esteemeds developers.
I just received an email from Mr. Andrew Bibb letting me know that the CMST ConnMan has been updated today and includes (11-20-2022) translations and updates for several languages, including: it, fr_FR, ko, pl_PL, ru_RU, tr_TR, zh_CN and pt-BR. Several languages have not yet been updated to the latest version of the ConnMan CMST and need the attention of volunteer translators.

Olá prezados desenvolvedores.

::Nice! I just got connman’s lattest version when I updated antix yesterday – no changes that I could see, but the pt-pt localization is almost perfect (I helped a bit with that, some months ago)- the only thing I noticed that is not localized is the Names of the connections, that are in english- in fact, in pt-pt, we currently use “Wifi” instead of the much larger portuguese expression “Sem fios”, but for cabled connections, we don’t use “Wired”- the correct translation would be something like “Cabeada”, but the day to day expression we use (probably in Brazil too) is “Cabo” (“Cable”) – it’s a tiny localization problem only.
Marcelo – since you are in touch with the dev, maybe you could suggest an idea that would make connman much pratical to use with Wifi connections (but I do not know how hard it would be to implement): On the first tab, that, when wifi is turned on, lists the detected wifi connections, it would be great if clicking any wifi network simply takes the user to the “Wifi” tab – making it easier to connect to any network- ideally, but that would be a great redisign, would be merge that tab with the first tab, allowing users to torn on/off wifi AND connect to any wifi network on the same screen / tab – that is my single “complaint” about connman…P.

::Hello PPC.
I made some corrections and improvements in this regard for the pt-BR language and mr. Andrew Bibb promptly approved my merge request 283. In addition to allowing adjustment with the cursor of the columns Name (Nome), Type (Tipo), Powered (Dispositivo), Connected (Conectado para pt-BR ou Ligado para pt) e Tethering (Compartilhamento).
As you know, not all texts are included by programmers for us to translate (localize), so unfortunately some items in the program are not able to be translated, which is a pity.
I adapted for pt-BR “Sem Fio” for “Wi-Fi” and “Com Fio” for “Ethernet” or “Wired”, but it could be the same ways you suggested “Cabo” ou “Cabeada”. It would be very good to have the correct form for the pt version with the translations that can be understood by most Portuguese people. Please update the file cmst_pt.ts and request the merge via GitHub or email it to mr. Andrew Bibb that he also accepts to receive by email.
