::Translations aren’t perfect, but most menus and apps related to antiX (not talking about independent ones), have been translated to Spanish.
To change the language, I once explained it in a previous answer. Think of using es (for spanish) instead of fr.Changing language may be a bit tricky. You will need to know the specific version of French you want. Check to see if you have it installed by writing this on a terminal emulator:
locale -a | grep "fr_"
If the French version you are looking for is there, great. If it is there, skip the next command. If it is not, you will have to generate the locale files using
sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales
Once you find the French variant you want (moving with the arrow keys), hit the Space key so you can see an asterisk symbol on it, hit Enter, move to the language you want to default to, accept and wait for it to generate your language.Let us imagine the language you want is fr_FR (French from France). You would change the default linux language by executing:
sudo update-locale LANG=fr_FR.utf8
Programs should change the default languages (if they don’t, reboot the system).I would advise you to create a new user account so that all local folders and menus change to the new language (Control Centre > Maintenance > User Manager > and there you can add the new user). After login in to the new user, you may have to change the Autologin user in Control Centre.
This should change your default language for the system and menus. If the menu doesn’t change, you will have to navigate to /usr/share/antiX/localization/fr/ and copy the config and menu files to your home folder.
There may be a simpler set of instructions. Hopefully, someone with more experience can add to this.

::Thank you very much for helping me, I did the procedure you explained me and the language changed but partially, what I found better was to start over the installation process, I hadn’t noted that when you first boot antix live you can choose the language and that setting will carry over the installation, I also noted that there in the package manager are languages options. I’m promoting the use of Linux but changing language is something I need to understand in the case of these distros, I don’t speak perfect english but I can handle basic communication, but in the country I live in spanish is the first language.

::Hello,
I would like also to help to translate better in French. But I don’t know how exactly to do it.
First I would like to translate the menu, but I don’t know which apps it is. The same for spacefm. I download the po file converted to mo but some strings are still in english in spacefm.
Thank you for your help. -
