antiX17 (the installed package “init-system-helpers” is version 1.48)

      sudo dkpg-reconfigure apt
      command fails, with this result:

/usr/bin/deb-systemd-helper: error: unable to read apt-daily-upgrade.timer
/usr/bin/deb-systemd-helper: error: unable to read apt-daily.timer

Saudações. This is because the systemd is not installed on this distro. Maybe fix with apt-get upgrade.

clickbr, my post was a “heads up”, intended to alert the package maintainer (maintainer of the systemd-free antiX packages) to the existence of a yet-unscrubbed dependency.

I tried removing that dependency before and IIRC there were loads of issues with booting.
