      Hello everyone,
I’m currently trying to connect to the local library’s wifi.
Normally (with Windows) you select the WiFi and then you come to a special login page via the browser. Here you log in and you have WiFi.
But I don’t get that far, as soon as I select the wifi it shows an error and asks if you want to try again.

How is windows getting online when it it is not online to log in? If only edge browser is allowed. Not sure why firefox won’t reach a local library address typed in.

          I’ve seen that before.

Before you connect to wifi, bring up a browser to a blank page. Do not have any other browser windows or tabs open.

Now, connect to the wifi. Sometimes the authorization page will just pop up in the browser window. Other times you need to tell it to go to a website, and then it pops up instead of going to the website you asked it to go to. I usually tell the browser to search for something. Then it goes to the authorization page instead.

If all else fails, go ask at the library help desk.
