I tried doing an apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade with some confusing error messages and failings.
I need some help in understanding this and to determine if there is a problem.
      Below is the results:

Comment out what is in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/megasync.list (where did you get that from, it is not a default option?), run apt-get update followed by apt-get dist-upgrade

If you are not sure of the result, post the output so we can help if needed.

I do believe that the debian repo in question is empty at the moment. or at least looks empty to my untrained-in-the-arts-of-repo-management eye.

So, would this account for the results that I got (ie errors and failings)?

yeah, since they are are of the “file not found” variety.

but it looks like it might be coming back on line. I can click your debs now (I couldn’t a half hour ago) and down load them directly. So give it about 15 minutes and try a apt-get update again.

You could try a different debian mirror.

Taking a quick peak at the repo, looks like they might still be putting some things back together.
