Wouldn’t that mean removing the existing conky-legacy version from antiX?

And which version of conky-manager would you suggest? The one used in MX?

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

Koo, if you have installed the newer v1.11 conky version on your antix 19 system,
you can retrieve the debfile for conky-manager2 from http://mxrepo.com/MX19packages.html
and install it via “dpkg -i” or via gdebi.

FYI, a conky v1.11.6 AppImage is available (for 64bit systems only): https://github.com/brndnmtthws/conky/releases

            Thanks for the replying.
The MX team worked with teejeetech to update conky manager so it was compatible with 1.10> conkys, the older version would only run 1.09< conkys conky-manager2 will now run both versions.
The version I installed = conky-manager_2.7+dfsg1-5mx19+1_amd64.deb runs fine.
I had a compatibly issue but synaptic fixed it up. So all is good.

            Unpacking conky-manager (2.7+dfsg1-5mx19+1) ...
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of conky-manager:
             conky-manager depends on libgee-0.8-2 (>= 0.8.3); however:
              Package libgee-0.8-2 is not installed.

It is a handy tool to me anyways for building conkys you start @ stop them edit the scripts too. Just faster then a text editor, starting the conky with

              conky -c

            ~/.conky/.conkyrc-my-antiX1

If you wish to convert 1.09< to 1.10> version, conky installs a handy script convert.lua. I have had good success with this in the past. /usr/share/doc/conky-all

To convert to Conky 10.0 +

            lua ./convert.lua .conkyrc conkyrc
