hi, I installed antix 32 bit version a year and a half ago. It works very well. At that time I thought my processor was a 32 bit because I had the 32 bit windows vista preinstalled on it. I wasn’t sure the year of release but thought it was around 2009. Checking some commands, I’m very confused.

::Yes, its a 64 bit CPU, but you only have 4 gb of memory. Either 32 or 64 bit antiX should work.

::64-bit software only really matters if you have 6-8gb of ram or more. 4gb ram
and under runs 32-bit just fine. btw all the dual-core cpus are 64- bit.
If you have 4gb ram go for 64-bit under it go for 32-bit software for daily usage. -
