      Hiyall,
      I transferred a small amount of data from my everyday computer to a USB formatted as ext4.
      I then inserted it in the antiX-base laptop.
      The OS discovered this;

      Where do I find the USB with my data?

        The usb you inserted is mounted at /media/peter/Live-usb (according to the image above). This is a typical live-usb file system setup. If you had formatted the usb as a generic usb storage device (for example, formatting it with: Start menu – Applications – antiX – Format USB), then the data folders would be visible under /media/peter/USB-DATA. (It would be under /media/peter, named something you chose when formatting, or generic, if you didn’t give it a label.)

        Did you insert the correct usb?
        I just inserted one of my data usbs. see the image below.

        EDIT: I see you are under user “peter” – this makes me wonder if this screenshot was taken from an installed system, not a live system. I say this because “demo” is normally the user name on a live system….

          Christophe,
          Thanx again.
          I keep forgetting that formatting in Mint is not the same as formatting in antiX, although it seems strange that they are different.
          It works now.

          Live-USB = zzz-IceWM-antiX21-runit-64-base: static persistence
          VirtualBox= zzz-IceWM-antiX21-runit-64-base

            I’m glad it works now.

            But how is it different in Mint?

              Can’t tell you. It’s the same process. I guess antiX has some exclusivity using its own system.

              Live-USB = zzz-IceWM-antiX21-runit-64-base: static persistence
              VirtualBox= zzz-IceWM-antiX21-runit-64-base
