I have downloaded the deadbeef.deb however when I click on it to install I get the attached.
Where from here?

I do not understand your reason for trying to install DeadBeef the hard way…
I suggest you go to antiX Control Center –> Software –> Package Installer –> Audio and select DeadBeef for installation…
Package Installer is like antiX native app store…
If however you meant to install the latest version, which you have probably downloaded then you need to install via sudo apt install referring to the deb in your download folder…

Dear olsztyn,
thanks for your reminder of the terminal code for this old man with fading…everything!
I went there (antiX Control Center –> Software –> Package Installer –> Audio) several times but it wouldn’t install. I even asked an expert to help and he couldn’t do it either.
No matter. The terminal code worked so I’m just about all set up to get myself into more trouble.
