      Well, I have downloaded the devuan_daedalus_5.0.preview_20221022_amd64_desktop-live.iso from https://files.devuan.org/devuan_daedalus/desktop-live/
      Now to put it on a USB and see how it goes. Image created… next to test it out.

          Awesome. Next you’ll be saying, “it’s nice, but it’s certainly no antiX”, hahaha.

              Interesting; my inxi and pinxi scripts work fine from antiX but the same scripts have a problem here:

              		my $version = qx(ps --version 2>&1);
              		$b_busybox_ps = 1 if $version =~ /busybox/i;

              version is undefined in the second line, so that means the my statement doesn’t work in Devuan with the software I have currently installed.
              I’ve run this same script across several distributions without issues in the past; I’ll see if ps –version works, then qx…

              Ah, that was quick; I don’t have the tool containing ps installed; I’ll have to get that fixed!

                It’s in /bin, so just added that to the PATH and the command works!

                  I actually came back to Devuan a SECOND time!

                  I like it as an efficient, full featured distribution. With the newest, most current software, now that they are regularly updating their software, it definitely has some appeal, more than many other distributions in fact. I have antiX, siduction, and Devuan on this particular hardware, and they are three of the best distributions for this system and for my personal preferences.

                  Here’s the configuration today:

                  pinxi -v3
                  System:
