Hi!
How do I change default keys for moving windows?
Right now it is Alt+Left Click, which conflicts with a game that I like to play. I would like to change it to Alt+Right Click.I checked the Control Centre -> Edit IceWM Settings, but doing a Ctrl+F does not find anything that I can work out to be the right setting.
Thanks in advance!

::Try Alt+Space or WinArrange from preferences
Look for the WinGrid keys from the keys file

::antiX 17.4.1 by default came with IceWM 1.4.2.
I would say since you are pretty new anyway, just stay with it for now until antiX 19 is released, and it will come with IceWM version 1.5.5 which has a full preferences file.
You do know that you can just grab the title bar with the mouse and drag the window someplace else?

I fired up antix 19 in a VM and did the same search process, and found the following in preferences –
# Mouse binding for window move # MouseWinMove="Alt+Pointer_Button1"Could I copy and paste that into my antix 17 preferences file, changing it to say, Alt+Pointer_Button3?

It seems that should work.
This guy had your same problem and solved it this way:

::That’s not fair, LOL.
Lowspek, you said you knew nothing, ie a newbie, and therefore the best bet is to suggest only simple changes, and very few of them, and only if necessary
I wasn’t aware on the mousewin preference options and I didn’t see them in the IceWM help, man pages or website. Of course, I have never needed or wanted to try changing it before, either.
Anyway, if you aren’t a newbie, why don’t you install the newest version of IceWM like anticapitalista suggested a while back. I think he gave instructions for it because I followed them at the time.
PS: Too bad you don’t have a numeric keypad. On my laptops that don’t have them, I use an external keyboard if I’m doing a lot of keyboard work. I have my numeric keypad setup for moving and resizing windows very efficiently.

::Thanks BobC & Xecure, that did the trick and I have it working nicely now.
I have been poking around with antix19 and its version of IceWM in a VM. It looks nice! I am excited about where this WM is going and not missing a DE at all so far.
