Tagged: Keysys, Keysysworkspace, KeyWin
Hi, I’m very new to Antix, so far i’m very impressed with the performances.
I’m trying to find a way to disable KeyWin, Keysys, Keysysworkspace while I’m using apps like Blender that makes heavy use of keyboard shortcuts, because the KeyWin, Keysys, Keysysworkspace, while the could be very handy, they make the use of certain software very slow.
Is there a temporary solution, or even a defenitive one to do so?
Thanks
Hallo Kuregart, depends on your window management.
in the /home .icewm preferences you can enable, disable or change many keybindings.
As we only use Ice no experience with other desktops.
It may be more efficient to create a user account for certain applications with modified preferences
Works well for us.
yes, in the meanwhile I had found this https://ice-wm.org/man/icewm-keys .. so, for now, I simply renamed the original keys file to keys_bk and made the keys file empty.. it works , just after restarting Icewm .. But I was wondering if there is a more elegant way do do so.. The user account could be a solution, I guess.. thanks
