::Hi, welcome to the forum.
synclient should be already installed on antix-full.
You can try
For turning the touchpad off
synclient TouchpadOff=1
for turning on
synclient TouchpadOff=0Just a tip, without wanting to be admonitory,the “Search Forums” under “Register” on the right side of the forum-side shows some outcomes for disable touchpad.The search bar at the top works however not.

Forum is too new and not enough threads yet. I think it just searches this forum and not google.

::I created a little bash file that I call with a defined key. It toggle the touchpad on / off. Maybe it helps.
#!/bin/bash
if [ $(synclient -l | grep TouchpadOff | awk ‘{print $3}’) == 1 ] ; then
synclient touchpadoff=0;
else
synclient touchpadoff=1;

Hi,
great 🙂
Thanks for your time.Could you modify it:
– script detects if mouse is present
– if yes turn off touchpad
– if not touchpad stays onI can set to run it automatic when system starts.
