Hello,
How do I disable wifi via command line so it does not turn on at startup?
Regards,
Alex
I don’t know a more “elegant” way, but my way does work for me:
Which version on antiX are you using (core, full, etc.)?
If using full or base, open the Control Centre, and under the network tab, run “Select wifi Application.”
Switch from connman to ceni.
(If you are using antiX-core, start from here:)
Then run ceni to remove your wifi configuration – start it up, select your wifi device (if you have one), and then choose to remove that wifi configuration.
Then exit (if you don’t have a wifi device then you don’t have that option, and you’re done, either way).
If you have any trouble after a reboot (with connman/cmst starting up), run:
sudo apt remove cmst connman
🙂
confirmed antiX frugaler, since 2019
