DNS suddenly stopped working on two different computers after an apt upgrade. I’m wondering if there is a problem with the latest version of connman – I’m running 1.36-2.3 on a 64-bit system. connman is set up for DHCP, and I can ping sites fine. I have a third computer that I have not yet upgraded – it is an i386 system and it runs connman version 1.36-2.1 and it works fine. I tried to manually enter a dns in connman in the “Details” tab by clicking the “Configuration” button in the lower right hand corner and then entering the nameserver ip under “Nameserver,” but this did nothing.

      Any ideas?

      Sincerely,
      Lars.

the dev team will soon release a new package to fix the issue. For now, I recommend you do one of the two options. Whatever you choose should survive the next connman update.

        Sorry for the inconveniences.
