Double entry “Translator” in the antiX 21 menu.

Dear Developers,

For your information, I have the same entry in the menu twice.
In French it says “Traducteur” twice. In English, it must be the “Translator” entry.

I put a screenshot of my 2 screens. Don’t forget to zoom in to see the whole screenshot.

Good morning @Wallon,
even when not being a developer, maybe I can give you a hint:
Please look into the subdirectories of ~/.local/share/applications folder. Maybe there is a duplicate .desktop file of the translator program. I noticed while testing the upcoming version of desktop-menu all duplicate .desktop files within these subfolders will result into duplicate menu entries rather than replacing them. Only entries within this very folder itself will replace the menu entry and not duplicate it. (This is how the antiX community .desktop file set switcher will work)

as far as I know the “translator” app (that has that icon) referes to a script created by me, that is included in the ft10 package- since that package has been through some changes, there’s the chance that you have 2 versions of the app’s .desktop file installed- and you may delete on of them. I’m away from my home computer, so I can’t say, right now if this is a problem in icewm or not…

Dear PPC,

You are right, I have purged FT10 Transformation and jgmenu as well as the 2 directories “jgmenu” and “tint2” in the hidden “.config” directory.
The menus are clean now.
