The keyboard I use started to fail and needs to be replaced.

As such, more than once has happened to me that, when logging out from X session and back in, the Enter key is not read and end up typing password in the “Login” box instead of the Password one.

Obviously it fails and I have to try again.

However, just a paranoid doubt of mine: do this errors pose a heavy security risk?
Could I be attacked with this? Even if positive that I have no strange stuff installed…

      Thanks.

        Hi ctcx,
security risk depends on who is behind or next to you, beware of children too, or if
there is a security camera capturing the screen. In a company I once visited the security guard had
a list of passwords he had collected from office and cantine cameras. That was in an asian country
        that had cameras near everywhere.

I think it pretty unlikely that an attacker could grab the screen at login stage. Hope I an not wrong :-).
