On vivaldi forum, a post about DRM video for 32-bit machines: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/70369/drm-widevine-videos-on-32-bit-vivaldi It states that support has been discontinued for widevine on 32-bit processors. Since so many antiX users are interested in keeping older computers usable, does someone have further information re this issue?
      Playback also fails using firefox.

I have not been able to use a lot of apps that require DRM on my 32-bit computers for quite some time. I have several 64-bit systems that do work with DRM. I don’t think we can expect DRM to work anymore in 32-bit. The main app I was using was my cable TV (Spectrum). No longer works on any 32-bit computer or my old Android tablets.

Thanks for the reply, Seaken64. After posting here, I checked the pupplinux forum, where they have come to the same conclusion.
P.S. I botched the link to vivaldi forum in 1st post. This is the right one.

Yeah, it’s too bad. First I lost Standard Definition TV now I can’t get any DRM content. I live out in the country so no antenna options. I gave up watching TV on my 32-bit computers and now only use 64-bit for that application. I’m more upset that I can’t get watch everywhere TV on my Android tablets that otherwise work just fine.

On my 32-bit machines I can still use Kodi or mpv, etc. to play some non-DRM streams. I used Kodi for ESPN until that was killed off by the switch to Python-3. I still have one system using an old Kodi with antiX-19. But it is having issue with some other apps like Playon and HDHomerun. So, now i just use a ROKU. And ROKU also still supports my Spectrum Cable TV, at least for now.
