      I’ve noticed that issue on my old Dell Vostro 2000. Every time I go to sleep mode, next time when system wakes up DVD tray opens. It doesn’t matter if I have disk in the drive or not before sleep it always opens. I have Antix 17 and 19 on the same machine the issue is only with 21. Anyone else with similar issue. Is not really an issue more than curiosity why does it.

        Don’t own a vostro. My Dell latitudes don’t do this.

        sr0     11:0    1  1024M  0 rom
        harry@biker:~
        $ dmesg | grep sr0
        [    1.834262] sr 1:0:0:0: [sr0] scsi3-mmc drive: 24x/24x writer dvd-ram cd/rw xa/form2 cdda tray
        [    1.834483] sr 1:0:0:0: Attached scsi CD-ROM sr0

        Do the above after sleep and after the tray opens.

            I had the same issue. Do a search online with Debian as one of the keywords and you’ll find the solution.
