Quick update on this….my 64-bit just gave me the QObject error and closed. But my 32-bit sid hasn’t
yet It’s the antix17 on sid repos, but if it messes up I’ll post. I’m trying other browsers too,
some aren’t very minimal. I think palemoon might be a more stable choice.
The laptop that gives me the QObject error is the compaq one with celeron cpu & 512mb ram, antiX 17, 4.10.5 kernel, 32-bit, min-icewm. I also think that I have noticed the increasing eating up of cpu and ram. But I’ll keep on testing it for a while.
I also checked another laptop
(inxi CPU~Dual core AMD A6-4400M APU with Radeon HD Graphics (-MCP-) speed/max~1700/2700 MHz Kernel~4.13.0-32-generic x86_64 Up~5:53
Mem~891.7/7444.0MB HDD~320.1GB(7.1% used) Procs~162 Client~Shell inxi~2.2.35) running Peppermint 8 LXDE.
It also gives the same error….so it’s not just an antix issue.
For the gear without sse2 support on their cpu.
