      Hello everyone,
In installing antiX in my old Pc, i have ticked “Enceypt disk with password”. In doing this, It has disabled me the installation of another distro through USB. Is there a way to delete this? I’m kind of blocked with this distro and i Need my PC since for example obs studio does not work here and i strongly need it

        Hi.

        1) What is the problem with OBS studio?
It seems to be instalable in Debian (version 26.1, current is: 27.2), no obvious systemd dependency (https://packages.debian.org/bullseye/obs-studio), it only requires pulseaudio some people (not me) prefer to avoid.

        2) I assume that you have installed antiX using the whole disk.
2.A) You may try to resize your partition(s) which are encrypted.
If you have a separate ‘/’ and ‘/home/’ partition, this could be attempted (not quite sure if destined to succeed) by logging in as root, then unmount ‘/home’ and resize it.
        2.B)
Perhaps, there could be an option using chroot to unlock and work with the drive, indicated by this link:
        https://archived.forum.manjaro.org/t/how-to-chroot-into-an-encrypted-root-partition/10760

Removing encryption has been reported in the past in various context; see e.g. [DISCLAIMER: Use at your own risk and always do a backup!]
        https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/397145/how-to-remove-luks-encryption-after-transferring-files-to-an-unencrypted-disk
        https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Removing_system_encryption

        3) When exactly does the install of an alternate distribution fail? Did you test whether it fails on other device(s) that is(/are) not encrypted to be sure it is not problem with the live medium?
