      Hello,
I am trying to install the atom code editor with the deb file installer but I have this error.
“error: wrong architecture’amd64 ‘run dpkg add-architecture to add it and update afterward”
my pc is an hp pavilion dv5000 with an AMD Turion 64 processor.
I have 1 mega of memory.

      Thanks for your help.

Have you tried to install it via package Installer under Development?

Are you using 64 or 32 bit antiX iso?

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

          Hello,

my version of antix is 19.2 (Hannie Schaft)

I thought I had a 64 bit system but when I type “uname -m” I have I686, which seems to be 32 bit?.

          dmidecode -t 4 give Turion 64

do you know a 32 bit code editor equivalent to atom or visual code that i can install on antix 19 ?

          thank

You haven’t answered the first question.
