When I boot antiX 19.3 and start getting into my runlevel (5), at some point, I get the error:
      cgroup: cgroup2: unknown option "nsdelegate"

Searching the interwebz, I notice people offering “grandma remedy”-type solutions, like reconfigure all packages, or apt-get dist-upgrade etc…

Why is this happening and can I make it go away? I tried search for nsdelegate under /etc/, and I can find it in /etc/mtab:
      cgroup2 /sys/fs/cgroup cgroup2 rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime,nsdelegate 0 0
      … but /etc/mtab is simply a link to /proc/self/mounts .

So, where does this mount option come from, and how can I make it go away?

unless you share detailed system specifics (inxi output), you’re asking readers to bark at the moon and run around in circles and guess

I get the same message – it is annoying, but harmless.

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

right, in the mx forum topic I linked, the common denominator seemed be specific kernel version(s).
Others now have a frame of reference: “it’s happening with 4.19.184-antix.1-486-smp”

@anticapitalista: Surely we can get rid of it somehow… And it’s not exactly hamrless. When you get multiple error messages, but you know that some error messages might be harmless, you tend to ignore all of them. I actually am not even halfway done with the error messages I’m getting during boot, I’m only focusing on the ones that caught my eye 🙁
