Error on update Kodi version – Synaptic

Version of antiX – 19.2 Hannie Schaft. Updated to latest.
Received the following error on update of Kodi version in Synaptic:
”
E: /tmp/apt-dpkg-install-TQqAol/31-kodi-data_5%3a18.8-dmo0+deb10u2_all.deb: trying to overwrite ‘/usr/share/applications/kodi.desktop’, which is also in package kodi 2:17.6+dfsg1-4+b1
”
Needless to say, to update Kodi the following multimedia repository had to be included:
http://www.deb-multimedia.org/ – buster main

Not of any urgent priority of course but would like to keep software collection updated as much as it is reasonable. Any help will be greatly appreciated…

you can resolve this by using the dpkg-divert command
