Today, on my antiX 19.X, 64 bits (installed on my hard drive), I noticed I had about 100 packages that had updates, so I updated my system.
      I got this error:
      E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

When I tried to re-run “sudo apt upgrade”, I got this:

      E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

EDIT (translation of the error message):
This error states that firmware-realtek_20210818-1~mx19+1_all.deb is trying to over write the file /lib/firmware/rtl_bt/rtl8723bs_config-OBDA8723.bin that’s also in the package connman-bluetooth-firmware-antix 0.1.0

        sudo apt purge connman-bluetooth-firmware-antix

        then try again

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

thanks anticapitalista. That seems to have fixed it:

as soon as I executed that command, the 100+ updates where performed. I got asked if I should use the current or the Maintainers version of a file, I choose “Y” (go with the Maintainers version).
When I ran “sudo apt upgrade” again, it ran fine. altough I got this message:

          A instalar firmware-realtek (20210818-1~mx19+1) ...
          A processar 'triggers' para initramfs-tools (0.133+deb10u1) ...

cryptsetup: WARNING: The initramfs image may not contain cryptsetup binaries
nor crypto modules. If that's on purpose, you may want to uninstall the
'cryptsetup-initramfs' package in order to disable the cryptsetup initramfs
              integration and avoid this warning.
I: The initramfs will attempt to resume from /dev/sdb3

I: Set the RESUME variable to override this.

I’m marking this one as solved”
Once again, many thanks for this fix and all your hard work, anti!

          P.
