sid is busy, below showed in several variations last days, not sure if anything to worry about, or if cause is known to those brighter than me.
Info or help welcome.
dbus-daemon[2559]: [system] Activating service name=’org.freedesktop.PackageKit’ requested by ‘:1.10’ (uid=0 pid=4079 comm=”/usr/bin/gdbus call –system –dest org.freedeskto”) (using servicehelper)

Hi Xunzi-23,
dbus-daemon[2559]: [system] Activating service name=’org.freedesktop.PackageKit’ requested by ‘:1.10’ (uid=0 pid=4079 comm=”/usr/bin/gdbus call –system –dest org.freedeskto”) (using servicehelper)
dbus-daemon[2559]: [system] Activated service ‘org.freedesktop.PackageKit’ failed: Launch helper exited with unknown return code 127
Is gdbus calling “dest org.freedeskto” or is that a typo for “dest org.freedesktop”?
Where are you seeing these messages?
Is your Sid system working as you expect?
Are you staying nosystemd?
I have read that return code 127 is cannot find that command.

hi stevesro,
no typos, copy and paste, the error message comes during updates, my system is otherwise working as expected.
Message this update:
GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Launch helper exited with unknown return code 127
is.
not completely systemd free, at present elogind removal threatens my brother printers setup.
Been searching yet again,
found https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/packagekit/+bug/613412
where packagekit was found guilty.
Reinstalling packagekit manualy has not fixed the error.
Hi Xunzi_23,
I have a Brother (networked via ethernet to the router) working without elogind.
If the elogind is causing the problem, you might solve it by removing (as long as you can get the printer working).
Why does the printer require elogind?

Hi steves* I need my printers daily , no experiments with that.
When new antiX comes along I will think about sys d remnants.
And if I can keep my monster A3 Inkjet running on that version.
