      Got the error upon boot in antiX19.1×64 sid-core frugal-install.

      Error:***stack smashing detected*** <unknown> terminated
      Error: Aborted

      Can’t get into antix.

        Can you boot without persistence? Or try without home persistence.

        Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

        antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

          Im booting with grub entry.When boot sequence start, after “looking for boot device” it stops with that error.However this time I got a different one

          Non-Fatal Error
          Filesystem sda3 could not be fixed
          c=continue
          p=power off
          r=reboot

          I entered c

          Non-Fatal Error
          could not enable required home! persistence

          Again I entered c
          And now antix boots and run as usual.I think antix runs old filesystems.I did a remaster before when installing 5.5.0 kernel.When I reboot all the above errors shows again.After entering ‘c=continue’ three or four times antix boots and run as usual.I have a live usb of this system cloned sometime before if it helps to repair this error.Thankyou.

            What is your boot grub entry? F12 at boot menu will show it.

              Is it the grub.d > 40_custom entry?

                At boot menu, press ‘e’ to edit (temporarily) the grub menu.
                Remove this part persist_static
                Press F10 to boot.

                I think your persistence file(s) is/are corrupt.

                If the above boots without error and has your changes, delete the rootfs and homefs files via Control Centre – Live – Set Up Live Persistence.

                Reboot and you should be prompted to set up persistence.

                  Thanks anti.antiX-cli-cc > Live System Centre > configure dynamic root persistence didn’t delete homefs.So I manually deleted homefs.On reboot setting rootfs and homefs failed.After login to antiX I created rootfs and homefs through antiX-cli-cc successfully.Now everything back to normal.Im wondering what may be the reason for currupted file systems.

                    No idea what caused the corruption.
                    You are using sid and sid does like to break things.
