      Hello Xecure,

I seem to have the same problem as Ghost, have input same commands, but am uncertain how to enter root admin status to edit the geany file.

So, get folowing errors on reboot:

      “No pinboard selected . . . .”
      “Another program like apt-get is opened, close first . . . ”
      “No internet connection open . . . ”

Please advise command lines to get status of box and then fix

      Regards,
      PFO

The fix was to replace “allow-hotplug eth0” for “auto eth0” in /etc/network/interfaces. The fix is only usefull for etehrnet connections.
To edit /etc/network/interfaces, run in terminal:
        sudo geany /etc/network/interfaces

          “No pinboard selected . . . .”

          Edit the desktop-session.conf file (Control Centre > Session > User Desktop-Session” > desktop-session.conf) and increase the STARTUP_DELAY from “2” to “5”.
