      Today I wanted to download the most recent version of antiX19core-sid, so went to Download —> Evowise on antix’s website, but it seems Evowise’s link has been hijacked by http://www.ZeroBounce.net. Instead of a list of available antiX iso files appearing, I’m directed to the ZeroBounce website.

      Most annoying. I tried again on other laptops in our household, with the same result. I put ZeroBounce.net on by adblock’s filter (uorigin) – this blocked access to this URL as expected, but it didn’t allow access to Evowise.

      Anyone else having this problem & how to resolve it – what’s going on ???

        If Evowise link has been discontinued, where can I download the most recent version of antiX19-core-Sid, preferably the SysV init version ?

          Any one of the other links on the download page?
          It seems that the evowise domain is no longer registered. Will be removed.

            Thanks Dave, but I can’t find any link for antixcore-sid x64 on the download page.
            Maybe I’m blind …

            Is it named antixcore-sid, or am I looking under the wrong name?

                antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

                  @Dave @Xecure @anticapitalista

                  Thanks guys for the feedback.
                  After downloading the iso file, thanks to you pointing me in the right direction, I started the install of antiX19.3core-sid. Following the initial prompt to reboot (after using the cli-installer), it failed to reboot, just arriving at a black screen with flashing cursor in top left-hand corner (I’ve found the normal antix19.4core doesn’t do this and installs straightforwardly). I notice the default kernel for this antiX edition is 5.8 – maybe my 14 year-old laptop is too old for this kernel …

                    Try a 4.4 or 4.9 kernel; those may produce better results for you.

                      Thanks Brian. I had thought of this, but I don’t know how to change the kernel on the installation medium, that is the USB-stick containing the iso file.
                      As, I’m starting to diverge from the original thread, I’ve started a new thread on this issue at https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/how-do-i-change-the-kernel-on-my-installation-media/#new-post

                      It’d be great Brian if you know the answer to this one and can guide me through it, or supply a link which may help …
