::Try this (for kernel-version, just type the 4 and it should auto-complete)
sudo dkms autoinstall -m exfat-dkms -k <kernel-version>terminal output:
$ sudo dkms autoinstall -m exfat-dkms -k 4 [sudo] password for asus: Error! echo Your kernel headers for kernel 4 cannot be found at /lib/modules/4/build or /lib/modules/4/source. You can use the --kernelsourcedir option to tell DKMS where it's locatedI think I’ll go check out BoB C’s idea, i.e. format the SD card in antiX,
rather than using the camera’s formatting tool & then report back …- This reply was modified 9 months, 2 weeks ago by mikey777.

::Maybe the way the camera is formatting the device isn’t normal?
I think the camera’s formatting tool works fine, as the camera-formatted-SDcard can be read by LXLE Focus.
Try formatting the device with the PC under antiX Linux.
Needless to say I tried this, but the exfat formatting option in gparted is greyed out, preventing
me proceeding with exfat formatting – see screenshot below:- This reply was modified 9 months, 2 weeks ago by mikey777.

::After solving the problem of my laptop not booting with kernel 5.10, but getting it to boot with a version of 5.15, in the thread https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/boot-up-fails-with-antix-kernel-series-5-why/#post-87203, I found that 5.15 also recognized the exfat formatted SD and allowed me to read and write it.
Therefore the issue here seems to be kernel-related, regarding recognition of exfat-formatted SD cards.
This thread is therefore solved.- This reply was modified 9 months ago by mikey777.

::Hi everybody,
I used exfat formated sdxc card with Toutou Slaxen 6.0.
I don’t know how you did.
In my case, I installed the packages exfat fuse & exfat utils from Debian repos about Stretch. With Antix 21, only this files would miss :
dumpexfat
exfatfsck
mkexfatfs
mount.exfat-fuse
Place them in /sbin directory. After, I plugged SDXC card exfat formated.
Then, in a terminal, type :mkdir /media/carte_sdxc (or other name) sudo mount.exfat-fuse /dev/sdc1 (or other) /media/carte_sdxcYou can open your file manager and find under media directory a new subdir “carte_sdxc” (or other).
Friendly.
