Antix is resource friendly and so it seems to be a good system for this task (topic).
I run into some issues and so i thought i’ll open this topic to discus my/your experience with antix in Virtualbbox.
The first task was to adjust the resolution. This wasn’t possible without installing the virtualbox guest additions.
Antix doesn’t seem to run well if you use more than one core in virtualbox (at least with windows host). So i set only one core and activated hardware acceleration in the Virtualbox settings and for firefox in the about:config. Before doing so i wasn’t able to scroll any website smoothly.
If conky and other desktop icons are displaced after the start due to the resolution, you have to restart the desktop session.
Feel free to add your practical knowledge.
