There is a thread here
https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/expkeysig-error/
that explains how to solve the EXPKEYSIG error that some of us had in antiX-19. I have used that solution a couple of times.
Is there something that will still work for antiX-16? Can I fix the expired key for the antiX-16 repo? I know Jessie is no longer supported but I am still using antiX-16 on a couple of test systems. I am wondering how I might be able to put the repos in order. Or is that just the way it’s going to be for Jessie repos from now on?
I also have the same error message from the repo I used to install and update SMPlayer and SMTube that I got from Stevo on the MX forum. Other than those two repos I am having no problems with antiX-16.
Thanks,

::Thanks, that is the very thread I was reading but I did not realize it also applied to antiX-16. Thanks for the nudge.
It worked to fix the error for antiX Jessie repo. Now all I have to do is figure out how to update the key on the other one, the download.opensuse.org repository for SMPlayer.
Thanks again,

I found out that antiX-16 has the latest SMTube already (by looking it up in Repology) so I removed the download.opensuse.org repo from my sources list. And I don’t need the most current SMPlayer since I use mpv. So, now my antiX-16 updates are all good with no errors.
