      I have noticed this phenoma a few times already, not only in antiX I think (not sure I think I may have had to do it in Devuan once). However this is in Bento antiX where I just reconfigured Firefox to default accept using the OS locale language.

        I noticed the exact same thing in a seamonkey installation… I will try this work around!

        Edit: nope- I had no problem changing the UI’s language, but seamonkey is set as per your printscreens and still refuses to use the pt language speelchecker, even after saying it’s installed, the only language that I can select from the spellchecker is english…

          Humm what extension do you call “Spellchecker for portuguese”? I didn’t find one when I tried. Here is the closest thing I have been able to try and test:

            The setting in Firefox config is a feature intended to reduce fingerprinting vectors, was taken from TOR uplift project.
            Probably not helpful as a person in for example France or Germany with US English UI and enumerable fonts in for local
            language will stick out like a sore thumb in normal net usage.
